Play the classic Mills game (Nine Men's Morris) against your friends. This is one of the world's oldest known games. The rules are simple, but you will discover interesting stratiegies to beat your opponent.

Game play consists of three distinct phases.

Placing game pieces:
At the beginning of the game, players take turns placing game pieces on the board. Game pieces may be placed at any intersection of the line segments that are marked on game board.

Moving the game pieces:
Once all of the game pieces have been placed on the board, a player may move a game piece along one of the line segments to the next intersection.

Flying:
If a player has only three pieces left, that player is allowed to fly. This means that moves are not restricted to the line segments, but the player may move a piece to any open position on the game board. (This can be disabled through the options page.)

If a player places a piece so that three of his game pieces lie in a straight row along one of the lines, the player has made a mill. The player may then remove one of his opponent's game pieces from the board. Game pieces that are currently part of a mill are protected and may not be removed, unless all remaining pieces are part of a mill.

The first person to either reduce his opponent's game pieces to only two, or to place his pieces so that his opponent is unable to move wins the game.
